Romans 4 --

Romans chapter 4 adds depth to what we talked about in Chapter 3: 

We cannot WORK to get our salvation. 

Salvation is a free gift from God, through Jesus.  It is available to EVERYONE who believes! 

This chapter mentions Abraham.  -- Look him up in the Old Testament. 

Abraham BELIEVED and TRUSTED GOD! We can, too! 

Hooray!  Let's follow His lead and read on to Chapter 5!

I'm glad you give it to anyone who asks for it.

Thank you that I don't have to somehow "earn" you forgiveness

Thanks, Jesus, for saving me. 

I will come to you so I can get close to God.
