In early a.m. I seek Proverbs and Proverbs provides those reminders I need!
Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips.
- Proverbs 27:2
Enough said. We should not toot our own horns.
Two wonderful reference points appear today -- One is friendship:
Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses. -- Proverbs 27:6
Do not forsake your friend or a friend of your family, - Proverbs 27:8
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. - Proverbs 27:17
These remind me of my dear friend who holds me accountable. Thank you, friend!
