Play the name game with your child today. Tell them why you named them. Is there special significance in their name? Tell them this Bible Verse talks about keeping our name good.
If we do bad things, our name becomes bad. People will not want to be around us or hear our name. If we do good things, people want to hear our name -- They will want us around ! (Be sure to explain we all make mistakes...we say we are sorry and our name is great again! God forgives mistakes! )
Make name plaques for your wall. Let the children decorate their name plaques. If their name has special meaning -- add it to the plaque!
Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the Maker of them all. --Proverbs 22:2
Everybody is important to God. It does not matter what you wear, how you look or how much money you have. God made everyone!
Make a collage of magazine pictures of all different kinds of people and put -- "The Lord God Made them all" at the bottom. Sing the song "Jesus loves the little children."
