Many of us package our worship in that Church Package. You know the one -- wrapped up with Sunday best and choir singing -- taped with a sermon and ribboned with a here and there prayer.
God wants all of us. When we give God everything - we can truly worship Him.
"Offer your bodies a living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. This is your spiritual act of worship." -- Romans 12:1
Real worship costs.
Worship costs our self-centeredness.
Worship costs our dependency on emotions.
We worship God whether we feel his presence in our lives or not. Sometimes, we all struggle to feel near to God.
That does not change what He has done for us or His actual involvement with us. HE is there even when we don't feel like it.
So humble yourself and offer yourself, regardless of how you feel.
God will do His best work when we get out of the way and stand listening to, appreciating and thanking God. That is a private act of worship.
